Googlepoint?

Have you ever wondered why Google’s main page is so simplistic and bland? Do you get excited when the Google logo changes for a special event (even if you don’t know what the event is)? Well folks, Google has again done something that will change the way you look at their main page. You can customize the Google main page to include Sharepoint style webparts. You will need to create a Google account (my GMail account worked fine) so that you can save the settings. Once you’ve got a page with the webparts that you would like on it, you can drag and drop them into any layout that you want. I’ve used Sharepoint in the past and really liked the drag and drop customization of the layout of webparts. It’s great to see that somebody has taken this concept and implemented it on a mainstream website.
